IOSH Managing Safely - Compass Internal Training
Across all UK & Ireland sectors there are contracts that include non-food services that require more in-depth knowledge of health and safety management. To meet this need we provide in-house a Compass-specific version of IOSH Managing Safely, the industry standard qualification for managers operating at this level.
As such, this course is aimed at managers at Unit level and above managing non-food services and catering managers operating large catering facilities. It is delivered through half-day classroom/Teams session and then a two-day classroom experience. There is an assessment on the last day of the course and a workplace risk assessment to be completed in 14 days.

The Compass Group approved provider for Banksman Training
The e-learning banksman course, which will be accessed through our bespoke learning portal with a cost of £30.00 per delegate.
The course covers the following subjects:
- Safe systems of work
- Reversing
- Drivers' field view
- Banksman signals
- Driver and banksman communication
- Introducing the site and agreeing procedures
- Practical - guiding a reversing vehicle
- Off-site banksman operations
Throughout the e-learning course the delegate will be expected to answer questions to confirm their understanding. At the end of the session the delegate will receive a certificate of attendance.
