December See Care Share Monthly Update
In the December edition of the See Care Share Update, we are asking “are you ready for your next EHO visit?”. All of our units will receive an EHO inspection at some point, EHO’s can turn up at your unit at any reasonable time, so it is best to be prepared and know what to do when they arrive. We have put together a short video you can watch to ensure you are ready.
This month with the cold, wet and sometimes icy weather, we are focusing on Slips, trips and falls, please share with your teams as part of their briefings the Safety Conversation on Preventing Slips, Trips and Falls and ensure they sign off on their training record.
Our take home safety this month is based around checking your Christmas tree lights are safe, fire risk increases at this time of year, with decorations for Christmas and people taking out the Christmas tree lights that have been wrapped up in a box in the loft for the last year. Check the condition of your lights and if you need to buy new ones, ensure they are safe for use, so please share and encourage your teams to take these tips home with them for their family, friends and loved ones.
