Working at Height
At Compass UK & Ireland, we recognise the significant risks associated with working at height and adhere to the Work at Height Regulations 2005 to ensure the highest safety standards.
Our approach prioritises prevention through risk assessments, equipment selection, and comprehensive training for all personnel. We follow the hierarchy of controls avoiding work at height where possible, using collective protection (such as guardrails and scaffolds), and only resorting to personal fall protection when necessary.
All equipment is regularly inspected, and safe systems or work are implemented to prevent falls and protect our workforce. By maintaining compliance with legal requirements and fostering a culture of safety, we ensure that every task at height is carried out responsibly, minimising risks and safeguarding our team.
Because when is comes to working at height, there's no room for compromise.
