In this month’s edition, the main focus for this month is Display Screen Equipment and updated risk assessments and e-learning module. These new risk assessments and e-learning are vital to all team members who use Display Screen Equipment to ensure that we have the correct DSE set-up and training. To assist in raising awareness we have shared a poster on setting up your DSE Workstation. We are also refocusing on the Safety Behaviours and See Care Share in this months update along with a Safety Conversation.
Our Take Home Safety topic this month is on World Mental Health Day which falls on the 10th October every year. This day is a great way to share a conversation about mental health. This year's theme, chosen by the World Federation of Mental Health, is “it’s time to prioritize mental health in the workplace.” This mantra emphasizes the vital need to address mental wellness within our work environments.
Please ensure this update is communicated to your front line teams and any related safety advice you deliver to team members is signed off on group training record for the safety conversation.
